The old system I employed to the site didn't work very well.
Now it does
A new version has been added which I explain here.
A bar is placed by everybody's usernames. This makes it public if you've misbehaved.
The system works like this.
1 Point - Spam, Minor Flaming, minor offencive to a member of staff
3 Points - More spam, Higher rate of flaming, quite rude to a member of staff
5 Points - Too much spam, High level of flaming, Generally rude to a member of staff
10 Points - The final strike. You've misbehaved once to much or you've done something which needs you banned.
